CURZON CINEMA SOHO 09.10.2010

On Saturday 9 October 2010, horror maestro GUILLERMO DEL TORO will be at the BFI IMAX and the Curzon Cinema Soho to introduce two very special screenings of some of his greatest films: vampire chiller Cronos (1993), Spanish Civil War ghost story The Devil’s Backbone (2001), his Oscar-winning fantasy Pan’s Labyrinth (2006) and the comic book genius of Hellboy 2: The Golden Army (2008).

At the BFI IMAX sit back and thrill yourself through the entire night where Del Toro will be doing a mini Q&A introducing all four movies from 11.15pm-11.35pm. There will be short breaks between films with prize give-aways and free tea and coffee to keep you going through the enclosing, enveloping hours of darkness until dawn … finally … breaks.

Or follow Del Toro over the river to the Curzon Soho: arrive for a Mexican inspired party and then take your seats at the stroke of midnight for a special short film, before Midnight Movies Patron, film critic and author Kim Newman joins Del Toro in an extended introduction to his début feature, Cronos. Festivities kick off at 10pm.
