Hello Cult film fans! Today’s Cult Labs’ newsletter is stuffed with great stuff, so I’m just going to leap straight into it!
We have some very exciting announcements from Shameless Screen Entertainment this lunchtime. Not one, not two, but THREE new upcoming releases will be announced! What could they be? There’s been a great deal of talk already from fans! Each release is from a director Shameless fans are bound to be familiar with…and they’re brilliant! 2014 is turning out to be Shameless’ greatest year so far. In other Shameless news, this week saw the release of their first ever Dual-Format release! Staring Ursula Andress, and including the DVD and Blu-ray versions, Shameless’ The 10th Victim is a great pop-art, sexy sci-fi, perfect for fans of The Running Man, Turkey Shoot and Death Race 2000! Hammer Horror
When it comes to horror, there are few studios quite as big and well-known as home of British horror, Hammer. From zombies, to abominable snowmen, Dracula, dinosaurs, lizard women, mad monks and Satanists, Hammer Horror is the ultimate British horror studio. Coming onto DVD+Blu-ray soon, is an incredible new release of one of their most gruesome movies of all, Frankenstein And The Monster From Hell. Staring Peter Cushing, this is a must buy for all horror fans! The stunning release includes a number of previously censored scenes, fully restored for the first time.
