I really like Hardware, but the choice is between The Exorcist III and Jacob's Ladder and, much as I love the latter, I'm going to go with William Peter Blatty's film as, aside from the studio mandated exorcism scene, it is faithful to Blatty's excellent novel and has a couple of superb jumps.
