I have been known to dabble.
The firs three I'd recommend to ease your way in are the first Steve Reeves starring Hercules (the pan'nscan US version of which is in the Public Domain), Mario Bava's Hercules In The Haunted World and Sergio Leone's The Colossus Of Rhodes.
They are all very accessible and fun flicks to test the waters.
