Default Bruce Lee/kung Fu Flicks

Well yesterday,HMV had all the usual suspects in their horror section,so looking at the World Cinema section,I clocked WAY OF THE DRAGON and FIST OF FURY...and thought, fek, only Bruce Lee film I've seen is ENTER THE DRAGON So,I bought 'em-great films,I wasn't disappointed!
Now what's the best version to get of THE BIG BOSS and GAME OF DEATH?
The HK Legends dvds I bought were excellent btw....

OMG never seen a Bruce Lee flick apart from Enter The Dragon reaps?,don't know what you've been missing!

The HKL dvds are fantastic, especially the platinum edition of Game Of Death. Some fantastic extras including a superb (almost 40min) reconstruction of the footage shot for the climactic fight scenes in the pagoda.

Next to ETD Way is my favourite of his films. It's quite funny too with some nicely choreographed fights including Lee's classic encounter with Chuck Norris. All the Hong Kong Legends are excellent including the Platinum edition of Game Of Death though you're best to check out the last 20 minutes of that film and skip the rest.If he had lived to complete the film it could well have been his best.It remains a cash-in in most peoples eyes more than a tribute though. There's no denying Lee had lots of charisma & could have gone far were it not for his untimely death.

Fist Of Fury is great solid entertainment too and Joseph Koo's 'spaghetti-socky' score is excellent.

Enter The Dragon is still my favourite with the above a close second. The humour in some of Lee's other films just doesn't sit well for me.

BRUCE LEE IS A GOD

of sorts

Don't bother with any version of Game of Death at all. An insult to his memory.

Instead get the Enter the Dragon 2 discer which has all existing Game of Death footage as a bonus feature with none of the shite American actors and filler. Lasts about half an hour.

The Big Boss Platinum Edition from HKL is the best for me

Why has it taken you until now to watch these Bruce Lee flicks Mr Reaps?
