Zombie Lake and Oasis of the Zombies should be the first to move there. Not the same old stuff rehashed all the time.

Cool

Out on a limb, but I'd like to see Arrowdrome use a standard style/colour for all their stuff, that way easy to spot em for an impulse buy. Imagine if Shameless used different colours/logos instead of the brill yellow/red.

Already have House, Dawn & Day but as I have an uncontrollable urge to own multiple copies of certain films, I'm sure I'll get these again!

So why the move to 'Non-commission' the superb collector's editions?

I hear it's because the artists have sore wrists.

Maybe they don't shift quick enough, or might be seen as too pricey. In HMV the dvd pack of Dawn is more expensive than the Blu set. Tho I hear what you say, it does seem odd. But they'll shift many more units at a tenner(I assume that's the price point)

Its probably too pricey to make new ones after the fire? That's my guess anyway.

As usual, I'll ask and find out the reason for you.

You stole my thunder.

Charge £3 less and deprive the fans of the great special editions. Much cheaper to produce, and some suckers will buy the films for a second time as it has a new sleeve.

If there is a legitimate reason then i apologise for this cynical post.

Arrow were always going to do this as the DVDs (when there is an Arrow Video BD available) simply don't sell well enough to justify the production costs, which are very high when you take into account posters, extras and multiple artwork panels.

The plan, therefore, was always to move these titles to ArrowDrome once stocks ran out. However, the fire at Sony has destroyed all stock not already with retailers and so this has forced the guys at Arrow to put this plan into action sooner than anticipated.

No dark ulterior motive to deprive fans of Arrow Video DVDs. Fact is, not enough people were buying them when they could get the Blu-ray version instead.
