I received my copy of Momentum Asia's Heroes Two today, and inside was a catalogue featuring a total of 24 titles. However of those, I have never seen the ones below, and cannot find them for sale anywhere. They are - The Trail of the Broken Blade The Master The Water Margin All Men Are Brothers Two Champions of Shaolin Invincible Shaolin The Web of Death The Sword of Swords The Shadow Boxing Martial Club Shaolin Hand Lock Legendary Weapons of China The Shadow Whip The Assassin The Deadly Duo The Challenge of the Masters Shaolin Prince Killers Five So what happened to these titles? Did Momentum kill the line after only the first six titles? Inquiring minds wish to know! |

| I'm assuming the six Shaw DVDs Momentum issued didn't sell well enough to justify the release of the remaining titles. Not surprising really considering the non-anamorphic transfers and lack of decent extras evident on the original editions that did reach the shelves. Yours truly still has all six DVDs brand new and sealed! Momentum did try again some time later with the Dragon Dynasty titles The 36th Chamber Of Shaolin and King Boxer. These two were improved releases all round but no other Shaw Bros. output followed afterwards so i believe the above DVDs must've failed to make a profit too. Hence, no more U.K. editions from the Shaw stable but at least the relevant DD donations can still be found for around a fiver. I was hoping Cine Asia would take up the challenge of issuing some vintage Shaw Bros. action, especially now this label works hand in hand with DD. But nothing so far sadly.

Anyone have a complete list of those that were actually released? I'd be much obliged

MAGNIFICENT TRIO HUMAN LANTERNS SPIRITUAL BOXER HEROIC ONE'S DEATH DUEL All available on Amazon for peanuts. I do believe that the version released by Momentum for Human Lanterns is uncut, whereas the IVL release is cut. Last edited by wongfeihung62; 11-30-2011 at 09:05 PM. |

![]() Despite being non-anamorphic the ones I have I think look pretty good. It's certainly a good place to start a Shaw Brothers collection without breaking the bank. It's just a pity the other titles never saw a release. |
