Passed away today aged 100

A good time to give Onibaba a rewatch. Anyone got any others of his to recommend? I've only seen that and Kuroneko . . .

I also watched The Naked Island ,a very poetic film, slow-paced and almost no dialogue but very enjoyable

I gave him a 'shout' this morning, and as I noted there, he was 100 when he died, and when he made his last film 'Postcard', he was 99!
