Just about every Blu-ray has a picture in an MPEG 4 AVC 1080p format and, as nekro said, every Arrow release has been in this format so I would be stunned if The Beyond was any different.

This does seem to be the codec of choice for most distributors, although Warners normally use the VC1 codec. Personally I think they both look good! As long as it's 1080p HD then I'm not bothered which one they use. This release will be busting with extras, so I'd reckon a 50GB disc will be a given.

On this review, they´re saying that the movie only gets 7.7 GB of the blu-ray. Is this correct?
