Apologies for the lateness of this week's release blog I've been busy - well that's kind of a lie. I forgot.

But here is what is going to be available on UK DVD shelves from tomorrow:

The Cabinet of Dr Caligari (Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari) (1920)

A silent horror film that surpasses all others. Alan relates the story of traveling magician Dr Caligari and Cesare. Their arrival in a town coincides with savage killings. Secretly Caligari was an asylum director who hypnotizes Cesare to re enact murders. But the final reel contains something which will leave an audience shattered. It blows away all your moral certainties and beliefs. This is the true power of its horror. To leave you vulnerable and uncertain of what you feel was secure and certain.

Ghost Story (1974)

Revered, misunderstood and oft-discussed, Stephen Weeks' rarely seen 1974 dreamlike chiller is the absolute definition of a cult British Horror film. Set in 1920 s England it tells of three former public schoolmates, Larry Dann (The Bill), Murray Melvin (The Devils) and the enigmatic Vivian Mackerell (the inspiration for Bruce Robinson' s creation 'Withnail', seen here in his only major screen role), who reunite in a country mansion haunted by the spirit of insane former resident Marianne Faithfull (Girl On A Motorcycle). The haunting transports them to a surreal world of demonic dolls, sadistic doctors, incest and murder. Hammer fans will see Barbara Shelley (Dracula Prince Of Darkness) and Leigh Lawson (Hammer House Of Horror), among the cast, 'cult TV' enthusiasts will recognise Anthony Bate (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Beasts), and sitcom lovers will enjoy a cameo from Penelope Keith (The Good Life,To The Manor Born). This combination of 1970 s Britsploitation and 1920 s quaintness, realised perfectly by Weeks and soundtracked by Pink Floyd collaborator Ron Geesin, have made Ghost Story legendary. Now, for the first time on DVD Nucleus Films proudly presents this pristine 2-disc collectors edition including Ghost Stories , an in depth featurette about the curious tale about the making of the film, an audio commentary, a trailer and a selection of Weeks' fascinating early shorts and commercials. 2 DISC COLLECTOR S EDITION - with booklet DVD Extras include: Ghost Stories an all-new 60 minute featurette including interviews with Director/Producer Stephen Weeks, Actors Larry Dann and Murray Melvin and British Horror Icon Barbara Shelley, plus composer Ron Geesin who worked with Pink Floyd, plus UK critic Kim Newman. 7 previously unseen early short films! 1960s The Chelsea Cobbler commercial! Audio Commentary and Theatrical Trailer

Heathen (2009)

In the vein of 'Following', the first film by Christopher Nolan (director of 'The Dark Knight'), Ross Shepherd has crafted a dark, tense, mystery thriller. It has been a year since William's brother David went missing. It s been the worst year of his life, one that has left him a broken man. The day Chloe moves into his bleak apartment block, it seems there is a chance for some happiness in his life. But William's fragile world is turned upside down when he starts receiving mysterious messages relating to his missing brother. William must try and follow these strange clues to find out just who is responsible for his disappearance. With Chloe at his side, he embarks on a dangerous journey to discover the truth.

The DVD package includes an exclusive interview by Chris Jones (author of 'Guerilla Filmmakers Handbook') who speaks to director Ross Shepherd about his guerilla approach to the making of 'Heathen'.

Also included is a condensed version of Chris Jones' new filmmaking book. This booklet is packed with practical advice, tips, interviews and more on not only how to get your film made, but made to a high standard.

Apparently that is a US title.
I got the uncut US dvd but i've never watched it .

The VIPCO print never carried that title so it must be a different print.

Think i'll buy it outta interest.

Vips the new edition is the same. Same RT: 76 MINS

No print of the film uses that title.

That same trailer also appears on the AWE, EC and SS discs. No print of the film uses that title.
