Xanadu. That song. Steve bloody Wrong kept playing it whilst I was working. So it got me thinking. A mate's brother always raved about it (and 'the horse song' in Legend ...) so I ignored that as he also poked fibreglass into his hand once then asked "is this dangerous?". He died in a car accident.
So I was in no hurry to see any movie called Xanadu.
Watching it was unique. I never liked musicals growing up owing to an early exposure to Seven Brides ... :whip:
Now I can peruse them vicariously I suppose. Nothing with Howard Keel though boom boom bye bye ;)
Ahem. Michael Beck. Wooden like balsa. Emoting should come naturally surely?.
I did semi recognise one other number. The vagaries of memory it seems .... Never again though. Life's too short.
Next week ..... Ghost
