Is it not enough that there are entire TV channels devoted to ERS? Cough, to wit.... Dave, E4, Really, ITV, BBC3 (with a few exceptions......) already???

I didn't even know we had a US TV section....

If it ain't Breaking Bad etc.......

This year I have a quandry...........this year I finally decided on (drum roll)

Water Power (Shaun Costello)
&
The Night Evelyn Came Out Of The Grave

But what to show in between? (in between people throwing up haha)

I usually try and lighten the mood, but am limited to a half hour break, and can't really show The Amazing Screw-on Head AGAIN...

Any tips??
I know it's a bit late, but with everything I've had to cope with this year, It's all suddenly HERE etc.

Ahem.

Sigh.

I've become besotted with a 17 year old girl. Physically she is my absolute "perfect woman" cough cough (petite demure brunette, a "good girl" ahem), and according to my mate she is "into" me (I'l be 44 in November), though he does claim to be psychic

This has taken me quite a bit of courage to tell you all this, and unlike a certain royal here, I'm not doing this to ask for sympathy (though i do feel for him, I'm not a total c*nt... having your heart ripped out is not pleasant WHATEVER age you are),

Buuuuuuuuuut....I have the sneaking suspicion that she is actually gay.:(. Ahem, I certainly know how to pick 'em.

Tonight's the night I'l find out anyhow. Wish me luck???

Honestly, next blog will be about the time I was caught wanking to Man Bites Dog:doh:

Ah, Srpski...the film that keeps on giving....

I have mates who i'm going to visit shortly, and they are fairly "moral" but not idiots, and they have only seen the UK print. Do i take my u/c one down with me, or do i just take L&DOAPG, as it's the better film?? I haven't seen them in ages, and want to leave a lasting impression fnarr fnarr.

it just goes to show, you can't tell. I've been a vegetarian for over 20 years, did this stop me buying Cannibal Holocaust? Well it probably should have...but as i'm a fairly well rounded human being with contradictions like most of us on here (i hope) i wanted to see the film again and i am an adult. Men Behind The Sun i had more problem with, but it's my choice isn't it?

Some people on here should remember that.

i wonder what "he" would have said to the chap who i watched Irreversible with, who turned round during the "tunnel scene" and said "i'm getting turned on"???

This is my last word on this film, seriously.

since rereading my last blog (the shitter8 one) and having noticed its incoherence, i&i have resolved to being more evenhanded and fair in my treatment of mainstream cinema. why, just this last year hollywood gave us lovely N E W versions of crappy old films (pooh! who wants to see them...) such as The Thing and Straw Dogs. What an improvement! none of that nasty subtext etc.
since they went to all the trouble of this, why stop there? lets spruce up every film! shia la bouf as citizen kane! megan fox as Ms Jean Brodie!
hurray for hollywood!

do we really have to put up with lazy blockbuster directors and their wish fulillment fantasies? i refer of course to S**** 8. having never been a Lost fan (im a Dick man, so shite about timetravel is passe IMO) i was pleasantly surprised to actually like Cloverfield (though i did see it in a decent cinema which may have had some bearing on this decision...anyone remember The Host?) i cannot begin to say what i disliked about this film, though i better as this is the nature of these things. was it the bland, anodyne performances from EVERYone in the cast? was it the cockteasing glances of the beastie trying to disguise the fact that its merely a knock off of the cloverfield thing with the face of the dragon fae dragonheart? and the ending!!! even mair sapppy than ET, i was practically crying (with rage) by this point. it also features ELO and My Sharona in the soundtrack....which i hate. at least it cost me nothing :laugh::laugh::laugh:

dont know about the rest of you but have your local council gone a bit insane this fiscal year?? in these austeric times, my lot have decided to give us all new central heating!! this involves the bloody nuisance of having to shift all my stuff (mainly because the sockets are in the wrong place in the room) as they say they wont be responsible for any damage!!! cunts. if like me you have a LARGE collection of media, you can imagine what im going through at moment...luckily i have mate just round corner and hes been letting me store stuff, but his spare room isnt infinite....i just know theyre going to bugger me carpet, so il have to replace that before everything goes back....
on a lighter note can i just expand on my recent trip to Dundead...
well it was a lovely looking print, which i really noticed during odd bits, crowd were laughing AT it at points, hey ho one quine had to leave due to laughing jag (1st time ive seen that since revenge of the sith, hey i couldnt help myself ok?) but this didnt deflect from the experience, and ended up seeing the other film on the bill any way (Mothers Day).
lastly....ZFE on blu....this is getting out of hand, now i REALLY HAVE to get one of these machines....:decision:

ah, glastonbury....corporate bollocks or what??
ahem. i just dont like u2/coldplay. so i watched a fair chunk of Dexter (series 5)...tis a bit "all over the shop" and filled with guests...get your own series julia!! but then after Lithgow's star turn anything would have been a let down....but i feel that the writers felt the same so there's a "...and the kitchen sink" approach...
it may even out, but not really bothered as new Breaking Bad is imminent...after refreshing my memory with last 5 episodes of the 3rd...can i just say i think this is an AMAZING programme, some stuff i thought id NEVER see on a tv show etc (and im a big OZ fan) why noone has shown this terrestially (?), c'est la vie.....
also watched great gil scott heron doc last night...check your iplayer!!
been reading volumes 7-9 of The Walking Dead...hubba hubba just you wait!!
didnt think much of the Vampires v Zombies ting i plugged...another case of the gatiss' ie raking over old ground...ok for beginners but....
anyhow...more when ive got it...

me again.
is there anything more annoying than watching a film you cant understand? and i dont mean in a Pearl Harbour kind of way either.
due to my craving for unpleasant shit, i now have Zvot I Smrt Porno Bande (or life and death of a porno gang) which is more life affirming than the-other-one, though thats nae saying much ahahaha ahem. have watched it 3 times now, and what emerges is a very black comedy, with something for everyone..if youre into bestiality, snuff etc. 8/10.

do any of you catch the Freak Zone on bbc6 btw? caught bonny reference to LDAMM, soundtrack wise and hes played a fair chunk of Popol Vuh as well, BUT was fortunate enough to here the main theme fae Tenebre (by Goblin natch) in the afternoon on 6, picked by the Phoenix foundation(?? kiwis???), niiice.

well. this is where the fun begins folks, as i admit that i finally saw Bloody Moon at the weekend, the European Shock 1, which would have been the first uncut dvd release??? can see why me mate went on&on&on about it aw these years, totally batshit in places, it it now my favourite Franco film!!

(pauses to duck out of way of angered comments, broken glass, turds etc.......)

also if anyone watches the rather funny Burnistoun, did anyone spot/get the rather cheeky wee Lovecraft reference in the last episode??? these things warm my heart.

also loved end of The Walking Dead (ive read quite a few of the books etc) so much that i watched the House on Haunted Hill remake, and liked it!! far better than that shitey 13 Ghosts (though not a patch on the original, i hasten to add as a man can only have so much shit thrown at him in one blog!!)

also received new update fae Cold Spring, always love their descriptions but this one takes the whole bakery IMO....

SKULLFLOWER "****ED ON A PILE OF CORPSES"
The most remorseless, brutal SF album ever!
Alternating between granular lo-fi primitive rock & granular(??) lofi primitive Power Electronics, this taut disc is a chain mail glove of hate to any lazy minds who've tainted the air describing SF as "psychedelic". But that's not to say this is an all out total assault. there are also moments of tender acoustic balladry, its just that they dont exist. The remorseless brutal sound is primitive, but as detailed & rich as a blood soaked medieval canvas, somewhere betwix (love this bit- TH) The Rita & Clandestine Blaze, but more brutal!! (imagine a drill going into your eye, the taping the noise inside your mind before you pass out - TH)

Long live the new flesh!!"

NOW thats my album of the year, before ive heard it ahahaha harumph. im quite enjoying this blogging, must do it more often!!

more when i have it....
TheHamish.
