Lovely! One of my all-time top movies. Some of this lot that's coming out all at once is going to have to go on the Christmas list..

Awesome film ... and really fair price, too. Might be getting this even though I'm not sure I need another version of the film.

Great stuff, I hope more Peckinpah blu-rays get released, I've got THE GETAWAY which looks stunning, I'm hoping for BRING ME THE HEAD OF ALFREDO GARCIA.

Alfredo Garcia would be great and is my second fave Peckinpah but in MGM's current state I can't see that happening for a while, or them releasing their own version of Straw Dogs either. It'd be a nice surprise if Optimum would spring us a Cross Of Iron BD sometime. I've got to pick up The Getaway sometime. Need to see if I can get into again. There's just always been something about Ali McGraw that grates on me though, haha. |

It's had a listing on Amazon for God knows how long and is frequently delayed. I wouldn't get too excited.

This was listed for release about 2 years ago and I sold my dvd on the basis of that. Got fed up of waiting so got the German dvd special edition. Shall I chance it again or wait until it actually comes out |
