Default Cannibals on Blu-ray, what would you buy

Since getting shot of all my DVDs I am seriously getting withdrawl symptoms for some of these gut munchers.

Personally if made available, I would buy blu-rays of the following

CANNIBAL FEROX
CANNIBAL HOLOAUST
JUNGLE HOLOCAUST
CUT AND RUN

what about the rest of you guys, anyone else need some cannibal action in HD

I am hopeful that some European releases will surface, as they did with DVD.

I'd buy 'em all.

Holocaust would be my preferred title, but yeah, I'd most likely buy them all too...

I'd buy them all (although Cut & Run isn't a cannibal movie).

so what do you think are the chances of this happening?

I think Cannibal Holocaust is odds on to make it to blu-ray sooner or later, I even heard rumours a while back about a European distributor already looking at the costs of an HD master for this one.

The other ones I'm not so sure of, perhaps if Cannibal Holocaust sold well, we may then see Ferox or Jungle Holocaust.

Same here, but they'd have to be imports as they would cut them all here*.

*I've not watched my uncut Anchor bay DVD of Cut & Run for a long time, but I should imagine it could possibly pass uncut over here nowadays. The others would definately be cut here and not worth getting.

I'm quite surprised that no one has picked up cut and run for UK distribution yet
and I can't really see anything that would need to be cut these days either.

I know it's not really a cannibal movie but it sits nicely along side Deodatos more famous titles.

While were on the subject of wanted Deodato films, I'm still hoping to see the Atlantis Interceptors released some day

Like a sucker I'd probably buy them all if they weren't butchered. Cannibal Holocaust would be top but I'd actually prefer Eaten Alive over some of those.

That's an interesting question. Now I've aged a bit I'm finding myself less interested in the old nasties but I do have a soft spot for Cannibal Holocaust and, to a lesser extent, Ferox. I reckon I'd pick up blu-ray's of both without much thought but I might not get round to watching them.

I picked up the Grindhouse DVD of Holocaust on release and haven't even watched it once. Still don't regret buying it, will probably get round to watching it again some time in the future! I still have fond memories of buying the uncut VHS at Cult Video in Amsterdam many, many moons ago...and then smuggling it back. Happy days

I'm pretty certain all the infamous cannibal gut-munchers will find their way to Blu-ray. They're bound to surface in Europe sooner-or-later, if nowhere else.
