I have that version of Lola as well, I just prefer the artwork on the German BD.

Oh right, the curse of better artwork strikes again! I suppose it's only better as long as it doesn't have the certificate plastered over the bottom left hand corner -- it would be a shame if that were the case and the sleeve wasn't reversible.

You're right about Warner- but luckily that doesn't affect "Scanners" and lots of other cult and indie titles released by smaller companies in Germany.

The transfer on this is very poor, indeed, and the cover is not even reversible.

I thought it looked pretty good when I watched it, but hey everyones opinions differ on these things & I'm no expert when it comes to transfers, PQ & such like.

Tis a shame about the cover though.

At least I won't see that FSK logo while it's on my shelf.

Thanks for the warning -- I hope there is a better release somewhere along the line.

It looks as though they have used a dated DVD master for this. It is just soft without even the basic detail you would expect in a Hi Def picture. The other giveaway is that there is Edge Enhancement pretty much everywhere on outdoor scenes. The Con Sec building in particular looks as though it has had its Ready Brek basically!
People who have slagged off some of Arrow's transfers in the past should take a good look at this as to how bad things can really be.

A shame but saves me some money I suppose... Here's hoping it gets another release somewhere.
