Default David Cronenberg's Scanners - June 10th

Well here is a title that needs very little introduction. Cronenberg's tale of telepathy and exploding heads arrives on BD courtesy of Koch Media in Germany on June the 10th.
Has English audio and is presented UNCUT.
Needless to say my pre-order is in....

Scanners 1 - Ungeschnittene Fassung [Blu-ray]: Amazon.de: Jennifer O'Neill, Patrick McGoohan, Michael Ironside, David Hewlett, David Cronenberg: DVD & Blu-ray

Nice one! Thanks for the heads-up.

Very nice.
I guess it won't have forced german subtitles or anything?

Are you sure it will be fully uncut, head explosions and all? The german FSK16 rating worries me a little... thinkin' about the trouble with Halloween II on blu-ray. The best for all would be if it was FSK18!

Amazon-de are describing it as uncut in the title but check out the screen shots from the distributor's own page on this title:

Koch Media*»* DVD-Filme *»* Horror

Looks pretty uncut to me...

Thanx! Looks promising.
I also hope it will include an uncompressed mono track.

Do Koch releases come with reversible covers without the FSK rating?

You are stuck with the FSK ratings on their digipacks but their Amaray titles such as The Oxford Murders have the reversible covers. As this is an Amaray title I would therefore think that you will be able to lose that FSK rating.

Yeah, I think they do. At least Silver Saddle had one.

Edit: The Limey beat me to it.
