Default Finally an All-Time Horror Classic Comes to Blu-ray in September

Can't believe this, what with zombie flesh eaters, halloween 2 & 3 and Elm Street 2 & 3 confirmed for HD releases this year I thought it couldnt get any better, then I see this

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Hi...Blu-ray/24982/

One of the only 2 films that terrified me on first viewing I hope they do it justice

Seems to be a collection, the "Midnight Madness Series" Hellraiser, Hellraiser 2, Children of hte Corn and the Hills Have Eyes are all being released that week (with Hellraiser and Children of the Corn showing artwork with that title)

They're also releasing The Blood Trilogy (2000 Maniacs, Color Me Blood Red and Blood Feast on 1 Blu-ray) and Basket Case (under Something weird) on the 27th and Vamp and Dead Heat on the 20th.

Hmmm... the Midnight Media Series flicks, will they also be released together as a box-set?

No plans for an uncut version of THHE2 on BD as of yet?

Basket Case and Vamp on blu-ray too? Wow, interesting news indeed.

AWWWW..... I was hoping it was going to be an announcement for fred olen rays evil toons.

only kidding.

(though I do like that film, any film where a cartoon wolf rips the tops of large chested actresses while david Carradine watches from the bushes is certainly worth watching!)

I have the uk hellraiser disc, dirt cheap and excellent transfer, Hills is VERY tempting, as is basket case. I have the someting weird dvd of basket case and it has one of the all time greatest audio commentary tracks ever, I hope they keep that.

A children of the corn disc (origional) with the missing scenes reincorporated would be much appreciated too.

Let's hope they DON'T go down the road of the German artwork!

That's awful artwork. What is it with the recent spate of sub-par bluray artwork? It's ridiculous.
