Have you still not seen this set then? If not, I'm surprised you've held out so long, I've had mine since just before release date, no way I could wait 10 months for it!

While we *thought* that we had met our 8/1 deadline, it has become apparent that a few of you have “fallen in the cracks”, so to speak.

This is totally unacceptable, and I personally take full responsibility for it. I set the date, I made the promises, and I came up short for a handful of you. I have no excuses and make none. I will get this straightened out for you.

While I am very happy about the hundreds of customers that we finally got taken care of after one of the most ridiculous situations I have personally ever witnessed in a company, I am pissed and heartbroken that we dropped the ball on any of you. It makes me sick to my stomach.

That being said, there is a slight dilemma. Demetrios is about to have another kid. Like right now, a baby is coming out of his lady’s vagina. That’s how I understand it, anyway. He has all of our stock, shipping info, etc.

This is NOT an excuse, it’s just the reality that we are facing. This is MY fault and Horror Movie Empire’s fault. The deliveries should have ALL been processed by August 1st. In reality, all of the orders should have been processed 8 MONTHS AGO. I have no excuses and expect zero sympathy. I am at fault.

All that being said, I realize that some of you have very strong feelings against Demetrios. And he deserves no sympathy. This is his and my fault. But any of you that have been through childbirth can surely understand that he has to be with his family right now. Not for his sake, but for his family’s.

I have not done anything to earn your trust, and I doubt it is of any reconciliation, but I *will not* have peace, I will not rest, until this is finished. I will wrap it up ASAP. I would like to get it done TODAY, but until I am updated on my partner’s situation, I can only say that this will be cleared up in less than a week. I expect WAY less than that, but I don’t want to make unrealistic promises before I am updated on the entire situation.

Hey guys, this shit sucks, but here is the latest:

I've got a new update and you're not going to like it. Yesterday, at 7am I got a text from Demetrios that said he was having a baby and that almost everyone had been emailed about the status of their order if it had not been processed. I haven't been able to get in touch with him since.

On one hand, something horrible may have happened. I sincerely hope that is not the case. But even if it were, I would still be out of the HME business.

The day progressed, starting with a few tweets from people that had heard nothing. "Well, that's interesting...", I thought. As the day goes on and I collect roughly 40 emails from people that have heard nothing and I get an idea... Demetrios is not being completely honest with me.

I know how he is so all along the way, I have checked and double checked with him to an extent that I *thought* I was being hard on the guy. Long story short, he was obviously fudging the numbers I was seeing / he was telling me.

Now, of course I saw the possibility of something like this. But I was so committed to the August 1st deadline, I honestly ignored a lot of the warning signs of his behavior. "Just get him over this hump and he will grow", I thought. Though he is a sweet dude, I can't do business with him. I don't believe even this is out of maliciousness. Again, there just wasn't enough money involved, and I do know that he spent all of my money on orders. To be honest, he just has too much other stuff going on in his life that he prioritizes over his business. He could still grow out of that some day, but not with me.

Anyway, if Demetrios ever talks to me again (he's pretty nonconfrontational and I wasn't being nearly this civilized in text and voice messages), I would still love to help him get the rest of you paid back. As for me, I'm ****ing broke and I have to distance myself from Demetrios and cut my losses. lol

I still feel obligated to restore those of you that haven't been set right, just because I said I would. I'm going to try to figure out a way. And again, if Demetrios will work with me, I will assist him in getting it done. But I can't even look at people's orders without D talking to me. I am completely cut off.

I'm not going to tear down the website I built for him, I'm not going to go after him for the thousands of dollars I spent on this mess. Again, I evaluated the risk and took it. When you put yourself out there, you risk getting hurt, end of story.

I'm sorry folks. I tried my ass off. I feel both embarrassed and betrayed for getting involved, I feel like I let a lot of you down by not sealing the deal... I alluded to leaving HME if the deadline wasn't met. Not only was it not met, but I was left out to ****ing dry yesterday. I thought everything was good and got hit with a bunch of unsettled accounts. Yesterday was an awful day.

I would still like to get into retail if anyone knows anyone, and I will be selling certain exclusive items I had negotiated for HME over at the new Couchcutter.com that launches next week (I didn't build a new cc despite HME, lol. I've been working on the new CC for 2 weeks).

Short version, we decided not to sell from HME, so I didn't make a dime from it. Spent around $3,000 (and WAY more than that just in what I charge for labor) just on getting orders out, and I've just dissolved the partnership.

As badly as I would like to stick with HME until the last person is paid back, I have to distance myself ASAP as I would *like* to get in business with someone again some day, and I can't let this guy drag me through the mud with him.

Anyway, I'm a big boy, and this was definitely a foreseeable consequence that I hoped wouldn't occur, but there it is. I can't even look at anyone's orders right now and Demetrios is either scared to talk or something ****ing awful happened at the hospital. Either way. August 1st should have never come and gone without getting you guys straightened out.

Smells fishy as hell to me...
