Agreed. Women's Prison Massacre and Hell of the Living Dead are two of my favourites but that Alien 2 really pissed me off!

The ones that have really punched my lights out have been The Dark Knight and Hot Fuzz. The picture on these two is just magnificent. The Imax scenes on Dark Knight are jaw dropping.

Plenty more of course but these two were in my BR early days so hold a special place. Kubrik collection is great, especially if you can pick it up for around £20-£25. Avoid the cinema versions of Lord of the Rings. Cheap as chips but it's no better than an upscaled DVD.

Not the swedish release from SF (Svensk Filmindustri). That one is regionfree, has english subs and looks great.
