Amer's not really a giallo - more 'arthouse' than anything

Others I can think of:

Giallo (dall'angelo, Italy; Opening, France; Sony, Germany; California Filmes, Brazil)
Murder Obsession (Raro, US)
The Stendhal Syndrome (Blue Underground, US)

It's up to you mate; whilst Amer does contain a lot of giallo imagery, and in some ways is a homage to the giallo film, I personally wouldn't class it as a giallo.

Also includes music from several giallo's, too.

A terrible, self indulgent film IMO.

There's a new version of Bird With The Crystal Plumage coming from VCI this year so worth waiting for that as it's in the proper aspect ratio.
Daemonia and Kyle like this.

I still haven't bought it. The only other option is a French one at the moment with forced French subs. You'd think it'd only be a matter of time before another cropped up but who knows.

There's a French release too reportedly with excellent PQ. Shame about that Arrow release. Their weakest release I'd say.

And how about Phenomena? Granted, it has supernatural and horror elements, but at it's heart is a story of the hunt for an unknown assailant with a sharp focus on the murders. So I'd class it as a 'fringe' Giallo for sure IMO.
