Default WANTED: Horror Mags etc

Boo! I'm going through a magazine collectors phase at the moment and would be very grateful to anyone prepared to get rid of items I'm interested in (selling or DVD trades etc). I've just purchased the latest pair of Little Shoppe of Horrors mags with the latter focusing on 2 of my favourite Hammer Drac's: A.D. 72 and Satanic Rites. Fangtastic! I am after the earlier issues of this publication aswell as the likes of missing entries in House of Hammer, Halls of Horror, Monster Mag and Marvel's Hammer Horror Collector's special. Aswell as this, any magazine or books to do with Hammer, Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee - even if it's just the odd article on any of these. Would really like the 1994 Radio Times special on Flesh & Blood. Fangkyou!

Shivers used to be a great source of info on Hammer stuff. When Peter Cushing died, they did a really nice article celebrating his life that ran for most of two issues, as well as retrospectives on such films as Plague of the Zombies and The Reptile. I think I'm too attatched to my old copies to sell them, but you can probably still order back issues fairly easily.

I haven't done any scans, but I can do if you tell me which you're interested in. I have a gem on a Monster Mag signed by Christopher Lee (as Dracula no less!). Just bought another couple today on ebay so looking forward to them in the post. I used to collect Shivers smiley smile. However, way too late in the day to have that Cushing special (the fact that I have so many mags published before I was born makes that a bit of an irrelevance though.)

Main ones I'm after:

DARK TERRORS

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 14,

HAMMER HORROR

Collector's Special

HOUSE OF HAMMER

2, 24

LITTLE SHOPPE OF HORRORS

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16

MONSTER MAG

2, 8, 9, 14


I understand a lot of people want to hold onto things like this because I myself will never trade or sell, but feel free to discuss in this thread your fave mags and let us all re-live some nostalgic moments with you.

Old copies of Scream comic, just so I can re-read the 13th floor again...

Fortunately I type up everything I have and I have some of those Scream comics. Issues 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11. I'd have to check to see if 13th Floor is among them. I'm a sucker for most things horror.

That issue 1 I have unfortunately didn't come with the fangs. By the way, that site is excellent. Only 20 made though (inc. 5 specials)! It's definitely a collection I'd like to complete with that news. I have a variety of other comics such as Dracula Lives and the Amazing Stories series with loads of spin off titles such as Sinister Tales and Creepy Worlds etc

My ten year old eyes lit up as a kid when I saw that first issue. I had them all and the specials but you never cherish things at that age. I had my fangs and free scary spider.

The other comics I loved at that age were 2000AD (goes without saying really...) and Oink!
