I'll have a look at the book at a film fair. The cover puts me off and I have to decide if I really need this book.
Wayne Kinsey's Frankenstein Scrapbook is released soon and that is top of my book list.

I quite like the cover and that full page pic of Christopher Lee and Melissa Stribling.

Looking forward to getting this book, but I really don't like that cover.

This has been addressed on FB:

"While not denigrating the superb work done by the likes of Marcus Hearn, Wayne Kinsey et al on the Hammer front, I would just like to point out to those who have been saying there is nothing new to learn on Hammer that Denis Meikle is basically the man who Marcus and Wayne came to in the first place for Hammer background info. Denis just delivered his final chapter on the new Hammer and we are wrapping up design next over the next week or two. I think this book will become an essential addition to any Hammer fan's library."

"Okay, here is something for the weekend, the last of our Hammer book shares cos we don't want to show you all 180 pages, but I think you can see it will be a visual and verbal treat!"

"Okay gang, DarkFest update. Isobel Black won't be joining us after all, but we may be welcoming The Lost Continent's Dana Gillespie in addition to Valerie Leon, Caroline Munro, Maddie Smith, Martine Beswick and of course Emma Dark, who will be showing her exciting new short film Salient Minus Ten. Denis Meikle and Rick Melton will also be there alongside many other celebs from the horror world."

"Here's one last spread from Hammer: The Haunted House of Horror for you to feast your eyes on. The book is almost completed now but you have until November 1st to pre-order and get your name in it. Any postal orders/cheques that arrive on the 1st will also be included. Our most sincere thanks to those of you who have already contributed to the success of this project and will be name-checked for doing so. We also can't wait to see the finished product!"
