I watched Silent Night Deadly Night the other night. Anyway during the toy stores scene with the cheese fest music, I saw a few blasts from the past. Who remembers this below. Please share more proper toys from yesteryear. I recall the great like He Man and Star Wars - but who remembers Battle Beasts, Muscle Men and Mad Balls.
I had this horror make up kit but my dad never let me use it and wasted the whole kit putting a rubbish looking jelly scar on his face.

Late 80's early 90's was my big toy phase, and had a bunch of cool movie stuff. Had a mini army of rocket launching penguins from Batman Returns, and Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The Beetlejuice figures were my favourite, including his magic trick, figure vanishing grave . . .

I had all the Star Wars original Palitoy and Kenner figures.

Now if only I'd kept them good and in the packets.....

I had a Jawa with a VIYNL cape, which is apparently worth a fortune if mint.

I remember that kit.
The little shit on the box reminded me of one of the nasty kids from one of the Hammer House of Horror episodes-something to do with bunnies......

Being a child of the '80s I have many fond memories - Transformers, Go-Bots, Visionaries, MASK, Supernaturals, Action Force, Rock Lords, Thundercats, Robotech, truly the golden age of action figures. Most kids toys today just seem so un-adventurous. Back then, every toy line had to have it's own killer gimmick!

I still have them boxed up in the loft somewhere. The Jawa's cape tore a little bit more each time you moved its arms. I always preferred the later fabric cape anyway.

I have this book which always brings back a lot of happy memories, and also shows me how much SW stuff i never had, especially the figures that came out after ROTJ, robots you had never heard of for example, just to keep Lucas's cash cow going.

I loved Action Force. The Red Shadows were a really cool figure, along with Baron Ironblood and The Black Major.

They went downhill when they got into bed with GI Joe though.

A fun site if you want some AF toy nostalgia Dream Demon.

Weren't as cool as RED LASER and RED JACKAL though.....

SAS PANTHER AND STALKER?

Z FORCE BATTLE TANK and STEELER?

ROBOSKULL and RED WOLF?

Baron Ironblood later became Cobra Commander and Red Jackal,Destro.

I collected a few Cobra's,but was getting on a bit.....booze and women!

I remember cutting out the wee medals and sending them away to (Palitoy?) to recieve a free Kraken!

I think the last I bought was the SAS Wolverine.....

The Battle Tank was a smashing battery operated beast of a thing. I loved it. I had all the vehicles you pictured except the RoboSkull. That looks really cool.

I can't remember if i still have them in the loft or i got rid of them.

I really liked the Q- Force Swordfish boat. It floated really well and made bath times something to really look forward to.
