That's 100 British cult classics there,I could have put a lot more....it just shows you,when it comes to shockers,we're up there with the best of them....

I voted Prey.
I like Warren's films, especially Inseminoid and Prey so as Inseminoid wasn't there I picked my 2nd favourite N J Warren film Prey.


EDIT- SORRY , Inseminoid was there, i've a thumping headache and scrolling down a screen of 100 names was a blur to me.

Im happy enough with prey though.

Went with 'The Abominable Dr. Phibes', big fan of that film. Also kind of partial to 'Lair of The White Worm' and 'House On Straw Hill'.

Got a bit of a soft spot for 'The Blood Beast Terror', it's more shockingly bad than shocking Great fun though.

Lots of great stuff here, but I've gone for five:

Dracula - Chris Lee is Dracula. Nuff said.

Tales From The Crypt - By far the best anthology I've ever seen. Real comic book horror. Brilliant.

Frightmare - Fantastic. Totally unique feel to this. Sheila Keith is superb.

Satan's Slave - Excellent witchcraft tale. Another great performance from Michael Gough.

Plague Of The Zombies - One of the best ( and most influential ) zombie flicks ever made - and one of Hammer's very best, too.

Honourable mentions also go to Curse Of Frankenstein, Quatermass And The Pit and Twins Of Evil among others.
