Or Peggy Mitchell being throttled by Jack The Ripper in A Study In Terror? The Ripper also got his hands on Dot Cotton years later in Murder By Decree. |

| Me! I love it. It's got that batty old bird from Blankety Blank in it and everything. I love the atmosphere and the acting from the two sisters is great. The ending is brilliant.

| I thought the ending was a letdown but it was atmospheric and genuinely creepy until then. However when I see Beryl Reid in anything bar The Killing Of Sister George I want to throw a shoe at her. |

I thought she was hilairious in 'Entertaining Mr. Sloan'. Quite good in 'Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy' as well. Usually she is an annoying old bat though! |

My penchant for horror started off in the 70's as a 7year old staying up until midnight and my parents allowing me to watch the Hammer and Tigon films that would show on late night BBC. I'd still like to grab hold of The Creeping Flesh and Blood On Satan's Claw at some point. I know it's not Hammer or Tigon but does anyone remember another classic starring Oliver Reed called The Shuttered Room? I doubt I'd find this sort of thing half as bad now but it scared the brown stuff out of me when I was a kid!!

| Great little film with an excellent cast. The ending creeped me out when I first saw it back in the 80's.

FAB Press' Tigon book Beasts In The Cellar is an excellent read, if a little let down by the variable quality of Tigon's films. Still its an excellent study of low-budget British cinema. For what its worth I think The Sorcerors is magnificent, and its unfairly overshadowed by Witchfinder General...
