Default Kairo (2001)

aka Pulse
Also remade as Pulse (2006) in the USA.

"Japanese university students investigate a series of suicides linked to an Internet Web cam that promises visitors the chance to interact with the dead."

I liked this one at the time, effectively creepy...

I would rather rip my eyeballs out of my face with my bear hands than watch the remake though ... Christina Milian is one of the "stars"

The original is a great film though, very creepy and dreamlike I could do with watching it again though since I have only seen it a couple of times, I just get put off a bit because the run time is a bit more than I think was needed.

The original over the remake any day. Actually that goes for pretty much every US remake of Asian horror.

In fact, after seeing this - for Halloween i wanted to get Red Tape and put it around my apartment door, but of course no one would "get it", that and it isn't easy to find red tape

havent seen this in a few years, remember it being on the horror channel and that it was kinda nihilistic.
