Default Horror laserdiscs

Just wondered if anyone's got any decent laserdiscs. I've a fair few, but in this dvd/blu-ray age I believe there's still quite a few collectable LD's out there (though don't own Evil Dead Blood Red edition looks like it's awesomr. Anyhows I'll start off with 'King Kong' 1st print Criterion edition double disc CAV box set from 1983 (!!!!) featuring the very first synchronous commentary ever made for a film released to the home market - with film historian Ronald Havers. And get this - the box still includes the original Criterion response sheet and a stamped envelope for the reply to the criterion offices!!!!! The whole set is in mint condition too, no rot and even the cardboard box is perfect. The actula print on the film is scratchy as hell and not a patch on dvd releases and has some segments missing later included (remember this was 1983 before the last couple decades of restoration the film has received). It does kinda feel like I own the 'daddy' of them all - and from such a prestigious future company - it was Criterions second release.
BTW - picked up Criterions first release Citizen Kane CAV triple box-set in mint condition at the same time.
I do know there;s some very rare german horror LD's out there......

well can't figure how to get pics onto the thread but I'm showing some of my LD's (the physical products) on youtube. Only just started so only a couple anime LD's up there so far but will be getting the criterions up soon as there seems to be very little info on them on the net at the moment and even many photos show the second and third prints and the CLV's.

I still watch Suspiria and Dawn Of The Dead* quite regularly from laserdisc.

I also have several other horror flicks only on laserdisc - The Frighteners (why do so few people seem aware of this Peter Jackson film? Very under-rated IMO, Michael J Fox is excellent in it!), most of my John Carpenter films - The Fog, Hallowe'en (though I recorded the TV screening onto DVD the other week), In The Mouth Of Madness, Village Of The Damned (shut up! I think it's silly fun and fairly inoffensive as remakes go! ) and such...

My laserdisc of Maniac has developed a sticking/jumping/skipping passage, which is very annoying (it wasn't cheap at the time!) but it's not a film I watch a lot.

Planning on firing up Cemetery Man and Castle Freak later as it goes...

*well, I used to...recently got the "Ultimate Edition" DVD box set...
