Severin Films have released some great films over the years, its about time they had a thread here.

Discuss their current and forthcoming releases here.

The reason i started this thread was due to the fact that Severin have just released The Baby, and are scheduled to release The House of Seven Corpses, neither of which i know a thing about.

Have any other posters seen these two films?

What do you think of them?

The Baby is a great film. Very odd but very wonderful.

I spent a while tracking down a copy of the last US release of it last year and it wasn't a bargain...wish I'd waited until this new version came out now!

I've have the Severin BD's of EAGLES OVER LONDON, INGLORIOUS BASTARDS and SANTA SANGRE and I recommend them to all.

I used to have the following DVD's:

BEAST IN SPACE XXX, BLOODY MOON, DEVIL HUNTER, EMANUELLE AROUND THE WORLD XXX, FELICITY, IN THE FOLDS OF THE FLESH, HANNA D, INGLORIOUS BASTARDS (1 disc ed), MACUMBA SEXUAL, MANSION OF THE LIVING DEAD, PERVERSION STORY, THE PSYCHIC, SATAN'S BABY DOLL, SISTER OF URSULA and VANESSA.

I saw THE BABY on BBC 2 back in 2000 and I can't remember much about it except for the very end.

I think HOUSE OF SEVEN CORPSES was the film VIPCO released back in the 90's as THE HOUSE WHERE DEATH LIVES.

Reading the synopsis of Baby, I think I may have actually seen this many years ago? Has it ever been shown on UK TV? Possibly on Moviedrome?

I can hardly remember anything except for the end, which I won't reveal for those who haven't seen it. I do remember being kind of creeped out by it.

Yes, it was screened in Moviedrome.
