Blood beast terror is a dreadful movie. But at the same time its sort of fun. Cushing did indeed disown the movie entirely.

I'm looking forward to giving it another viewing (this time in HD) when my Redemption Blu-ray arrives!

As am I, and hell, I have the Tigon coffin box-set which has at least one film that was worse on it!

I thought it was pretty good, and Cushing is excellent in it, as always. I like the scenes where the youngsters put on their own play of Frankenstein.

It's one of those movies that overcomes its limitations to be fairly entertaining. It's in no way a GOOD movie, but its certainly a fun one and I think cushing fans will probably enjoy it.

There are some really good deals on Odeon Best Of British titles on Amazon at the moment - mainly from the Thrillers, Crime, and Drama collections. They are around the £2.30 mark (+p&p). I have picked up about a dozen or so myself. |

Is this any different to Odeon's previous release?
