Default Have Film 2000 gone bust?

Just wondering have the DVD label Film 2000 went bust?

I've noticed certain DVDs from them have went up in price on online retailers. (As if maybe they have been deleted.)

I tried finding their website but couldn't.

And I know longer see their DVDs in Poundland.

Don't think Film 2000 ever had a site. The company has been a lot less prolific in the last few years and would seem to be more interested in releasing adult material on its Asphyxiation label.

I thought the Asphyxiation label was maybe by Redemption / Salvation.

Since I saw Asphyxiation DVDs in DVD world magazine years ago and the front art work seemed to tie in with Redemption's.

I think Redemption also sold Asphyxiation DVDs through their company.

You'd think a company that releases media would have a website.

Not that it really matters. They released crap stuff in crappy quality.

'Just that I thought I'd see what they where releasing these days.

Awful company ! Always remember the quote on Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys saying "with special fx by the legendary David Allen" (or words to that effect) despite the fact he died 5 yrs previously.

I've noticed that a lot of their old titles have been put out by Boulevard recently ...

I have an old (2005) issue of DVD World which features an interview with the guy who ran Film 2000.

I once had the Film 2000 release of Pieces - poor sound and crappy non-anamorphic picture...

God bless Arrow for their release of this little gem!

Greetings!

Shame is they were often the place to find some great titles - JACK FROST, GRANNY, the excellent SLASHERS as well as most Full Moon / Tempe output.

Just wish the suits would have done a better job.
