Default AWE, Njutafilms and Studio S is the same company

Would just like to clarify that AWE, Njutafilms and Studio S is the same company, it's the exact same discs, just different coverarts in different languages. The AWE releases from Denmark are released under the label AWE in Norway as well, but for some reason they are released under the labels Njutafilms and Studio S in Sweden, and a couple of other labels too I think, why it is like that I dont know but I think it's quite annoying, it would make more sense for international collectors if they were released under the label AWE in Sweden as well. Why make it so complicated? Anyone knows what the reason is?

Probably different registered company names in each of the territories mentioned.

This, plus I think some of titles that have been released are banned/not released in some of the territories.

Here's a link to AWE's catalogue (AWE seeming to be the 'parent' company). If you click on a specific title, you'll notice different flag icons indicating the countries where that particular title has been released. Clicking on the flags will send you to the distributor's website (VME, Njutafilms etc.)

I used to (and still have) a fair few AWE releases. Some had English text on the front, some Danish etc. so were from different territories. The films and content are identical though (to my knowledge).

Studio S and Njutafilms are not the same as AWE. They are distributing most of the AWE titles together here in Sweden but they also release their own films.
Supersound Films seems to be the distributor in Finland and VME distributing their titles in Norway.

The flags means what language they are subtitled in. Ichi the Killer is banned in Norway but still has norweigan subs.

Thanks for the confirmation RTZ

My knowledge of any language besides English (and a bit of German) is sketchy to say the least!
