Sad news for fans of Grindhouse Releasing and his father, Sylvester Stallone:

Woke up, turned on my phone, went on the internet, and this was the first thing I saw. 36 years old! Too young for anyone to go. Sly and the rest of his family must be devastated. As others have said, to most people, he'll only be remembered as Sylvester Stallone's son who appeared in Rocky V, but to genre fans, he was much more. R.I.P Sage.

Very sad news.I do hope it's not the end for Grindhouse, I'm sure Sage would want the label to continue putting out top quality releases of the kind of films he obviously loved.I feel for his poor family at this terrible time.

I don't seem to be able to find a Grindhouse Releasing topic anywhere so I'll just post the info here...

From Diabolik's FB:

"Grindhouse Releasing has announced CORRUPTION and AN AMERICAN HIPPIE IN ISRAEL as the first in a series of new Blu-ray, DVD and theatrical releases. Both movies will arrive on home video on September 10.

Four additional titles will follow in late 2013 and late 2014: Sergio Sollima's THE BIG GUNDOWN, THE SWIMMER, starring Burt Lancaster, Duke Mitchell's GONE WITH THE POPE and S.F. Brownrigg's SCUM OF THE EARTH (a.k.a. POOR WHITE TRASH PART 2). According to Murawski, the company's entire back catalog will also appear in new Blu-ray editions soon thereafter."

On their Youtube channel several new trailers are up with "coming soon to blu-ray" in the description.
