Malachai from Children of the Corn was a big fan of this.....
Hopefully with the original dialogue then.....

Watched That Sinking Feeling for the first time in 20 odd years last night - lets just say, it helps to be in a pretty forgiving mood, this looks pretty amateurish now, a bit am-dram. I imagine a lot of Flipside collectors will be scratching their heads. Still plenty nostalgia value for us old fogies though, amazing how many scenes stick in the mind after all these years - the delivery guy reeling off all the different cakes, the sitting in the wrecked car bit, the guy being a bit too
enthusiastic in choosing his woman's clothing. Were Glasgow teenagers really this nice back in the early 80s? Probably not, but it's nice to see - the greatest vice on show is a fondness for cornflakes! A miserable urban Brigadoon TBH but go along with it and you'll have a good time.

Hopefully the 'take a leaf out the Forsyth book' Restless Natives is on the radar as well.

HMV called today to say my copy was in.
Will pick it up on Friday night.

Planning a Forsyth Sunday marathon this weekend.
My old dear will get her card etc on Saturday!

THAT SINKING FEELING
GREGORY'S GIRL
LOCAL HERO (Surely can't be far away on Blu Ray!)
COMFORT AND JOY

Then it's off to the local Giussepe's for an Ice Cream fritter.....

Finally managed that Forsyth marathon last Sunday undisturbed.

Canal have done an outstanding job with Comfort and Joy.

Surely Local Hero is on the way in HD......
(That and Forsyth wannabe Restless Natives)

Rewatched Gregorys Girl for the umpteenth time on VHS, it's soooooooo faded now, watched the blu trailer on youtube, to say this will be next purchase is an understatement.
