From Spaghetti westerns, Italian crime, Giallo, Arthouse, Comedy, mainstream, he's done the lot. Easily one of my favourite actors. |

| Me too, and out of some of the actors and directors I have met over the years he's the only one that had me "starstruck"! |

I saw him at a festival in Paris last year. I brought a DVD for him to sign when I went to a screening of massacre time. I walked past him and was like a child at Xmas. I figured they'd do a signing session after. He introduced the film and told some fun stories. The film was shown and afterwards when the film finished everyone just left! I asked around and apparently he'd been there all the fest and had already attended a signing session (they had screened hitchhike earlier!!). I had no idea there were otjer films being shown. I was broken that I didn't stop to speak to him before the massacre time screening! I did leave with a handful of photos of him on stage though!! Maybe next time huh?

Love Nero! Tanzi and I met him, EG Castellari and Vanessa Redgrave in Brixton. He so effortlessly cool in real life and seemed like a really nice bloke too.

| Nice one, I'm getting it recorded. You never know the quality of the prints they use on this channel but if it's better quality than my vhs it's all good ;D

| I recorded it and haven't watched it all yet but from what I've seen it looks quite good. It's full screen but it doesn't look like any of the image is missing.

Film is 1.66:1 or 1.85:1, so you're not going to miss much, if anything at all, viewing fullscreen. It's not a particularly great film, mind. |

I helped out the organizers of a one-off UK festival some 12 years ago called BITE THE BULLET - which was attended by both Franco Nero and Enzo Castellari (Alex Cox was also there) - it was an honour to interview them both - the festival showed KEOMA and JONATHAN OF THE BEARS. Tragedy was...promotion was so poor....hardly anyoneno knew this festival was taking place and barely 50 people turned up.... Tristan |
