Yes, and he hasn't made any more American movies since! John Turturro is quite good in the movie but the story bored the hell out of me.

Guess the experience was less than favourable. Though his British film debut is excellent, Bronson. Tom Hardy's performance is just stunning, looking forward to seeing him in Nolan's Inception in a couple of weeks!

I thought he was pretty good in RocknRolla too.

I would love to see Haneke's The Castle get released on DVD over here, mainly because I finished reading the Kafka novel a few months back. I think it's been released in a boxset but not on its own. On the subject of Haneke, how about the original Funny Games on bluray? I've noticed the US version has two bluray releases yet the better, original version seems to have none over here. Does anyone know why this is?

Hell yeah! The last of his output that interested me were Dolls and Zatoichi! Feels like forever since I've been excited about a new Kitano movie!

Takeshi's Castle is on Challenge everyday, that should fill the gap between kitano flicks...

Bong Joon-ho's latest flick is very much in the vein of his masterpiece Memories of Murder.

The story of a mother who will do anything to clear her mentally challenged son of the murder he is accused of.

It's on it's way from Optimum Asia in Sept on dvd and Blu
