Midnight is one of my favourite 80s slasher flicks. I have a sealed copy of the ultra rare LP with the amazing "Midnight at your door" track which is sung several times throughout the film. I also own the original Gray Morrow artwork designed for the first release US cinema poster which was also used on a Scandanavian video release (which I also have). In the late 80s the film was reissued under the title Backwoods Massacre - very limited - and I have the original artwork for that US cinema poster plus the original poster which also had a very limited production run. I also have letters from Sam Sherman of Independent International authorising me as the registered owner of both pieces of the original artwork. Here they are for you to have a look at:

Here is the US cinema poster:

and the artwork for Backwoods Massacre:

I doubt very much it will be a cut release.
Good choice from Arrow.

I haven't seen this since the days of Vipco.

Now-give us some artwrk Nos!

I'd love to, but I think the first step is to confirm the artist!

Great collection of artwork, bigandya -- you must know Midnight inside out and back to front!

"Midnight" is one of those 80's genre flicks I occasionally read about but never managed to catch up with- so I'll be looking very much forward in anticipation of finally getting a chance to closing this gap in my collection via the upcoming Arrow DVD.

Those pieces of artwork are gorgeous! The Blackwoods Massacre art is especially cool. If only someone were releasing it in glorious Blu-ray quality. SD .

I've been trying to get the Witch artwork used for the old Intervision tape for 5 years now - I know who has it but as yet he won't sell it to me.

One day maybe....

My sentiments exactly!

I'm sure Arrow's version will be a big improvement on Vipco's release.
