Default Best year for Hammer films?

As far as I'm concerned, 1966 was a vintage year for the company. You had:

Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966)
The Plague of the Zombies (1966)
Rasputin, the Mad Monk (1966)
The Reptile (1966)
The Witches / The Devil's Own (1966)
One Million Years B.C. (1966)

Classics all

Nonsense.

1957 was the best year for Hammer films.

The year the Gothic horror boom began with Curse of Frankenstein.
