BTW in Cannibal ferox... Did the Cotamundi die or not? I've heard conflicting stories on this. Some say the snake wasn't hungry and that it was only half heartedly attacking it? Not that it makes me feel any better watching it.

Well you don't actually see the snake eat it, but it's a fair bet it wasn't a good day for the little guy, it wasn't the 'cruel nature' of it that got me but it was more that the film maker (Lenzi) tied the poor sod to a stick and no doubt shoved the snake at it.

Potentially good news. Im happy because I have an affection for Shameless despite the mediocre output over the last few years.
Having said that I thought there release of Formula for a Murder was top notch and I hope that a similar sort of release is on the cards. Stuff like Ferox, Conquest, Contraband are widely available and I personally wouldn't buy.

Conquest still seems to elude Shameless. Still, they got Contraband, which is the better film, anyway.

Not for me it isn't.

I always watch films with vaseline smeared over my eyeballs to get the full Conquest effect.

I still hope for Conquest and Seven Notes in Black one day. Conquest is just pure entertaining trash, Seven Notes is pure class.
