When I first started to watch Fulci's horror films on video, back in the pre-cert days, I had no idea what he looked like. I recognised the director's name from films like, Zombie Flesh-Eaters, City of the Living Dead, etc, and that it was usually the same names that appeared alongside his in the opening credits (Fabio Frizzi, Giannetto De Rossi, Fabrizio De Angelis, etc). I remember thinking while watching them though, who is this little, bespectacled, balding character that keeps popping up in these flicks? It wasn't until later I figured out it must be Fulci himself appearing in cameo parts in each of his movies. The one in Contraband is possibly the greatest of them all.
