And I get sick of turning on MSW and I always seem to get one of the two episodes set in Ireland.

Dont get me started on him i just cant stand him. The only thing i enjoyed him in was the voice acting in the GTA games but it did not hurt that i did not have to look at his FACE when he was talking.

I'm sick of Dany Dyre. So can we talk about old Tv shows, from 1965-2000. All the detective shows.

I don't get annoyed at British stereotypes so much, except that in US shows/films, unless the Brit is the lead character (Bond) they ALWAYS turn out to be the bad guy/backstabber/yellow belly. That's unless they're the quirky elderly professor or butler.

Seriously, watch a US film or series and a young/middle aged Brit turns up - he'll turn out to be either the bad guy or general idiot. It's a rule of thumb and boringly predictable.

best examples of Britain through the eyes of America are...

GREEN STREET 2
Clearly filmed in Los Angeles because there are no palm tree's in london and it's very rarely sunny. British prison inmate's also don't wear orange jump suits and have sandy court yards.

CROUCH END
this was an episode of Stephen King's Nightmares and Dreamscapes and was supposed to be set in crouch end but the only way you could tell that it was supposed to be britain was by putting a black cab into the episode.

Crouch End was clearly Oz. And i remain convinced how Green STreet 2 was set in Britain, depsite having the warden dude Graham McTavish off Red Dwarf series 8 and Marina Sirtis who depsite being in Trek was clearly in a nep of Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett and is British.

Default I was more pissed off to be honest.

I just thought it was rather shoddy. Its accents were bad newfoundland accents.Anyway the episodes had the most random casting for Irish. Rod Taylor! Martin Jarvis! Like, were they insane?
