Default Murder Mystery and Suspense

I have fond memories of this strand on ITV back in the glorious 80's .

I don't recall the name of it but remember the one involving the ouija board starring TV's Dempsey Michael Brandon? Some great films / TV Movies were shown.

Deadly Messages

That strand was important in forming my love of classic US TV films. They screened many an ABC/CBS film.

I have the above DVDs too and picked 'em up roughly around the same time before they became sought after. TSB sorely needs a release too along with another enjoyable horror-themed network effort, Don't Go To Sleep. Thank God for the Warner Archive Collection i say, for at least some vintage domestic gems have been given a new lease of life via this outlet.

Generally, i avoid TV movies like the plague (especially nowadays!) but the '70s and '80s did deliver some memorable outings and i tend to recall MMAS's opening ident more than anything else! Hazy white title lettering against a dark 'n' misty background if i'm not mistaken.
Aahh, happy days!

I remember deadly messages!

There was one other that I remember seeing in the Murder, Mystery & Suspense slot. Don't recall the title but it featured a young female lead who was plagued by nightmares of a sister who had fallen from a cliff on a stormy night. The seemingly supportive husband plays on the wife's insecurities by planting things in the house to make her think she's losing her mind. Any ideas?

No way! That is going to annoy me. I remember that very faintly too.

Don't think this is actually the one but sounds a similar premise & it's out on dvd here.I guess the one you're talking about was made earlier too.:-

I've just downloaded ARE YOU IN THE HOUSE ALONE (1978) starring Kathleen Beller & a young Dennis Quaid Are You in the House Alone? (TV 1978) - IMDb .I hate watching them on a P.C so I convert them & put them on a disc to watch with the missus. Some look worse than others but there's a great selection of complete 70s T.V movies including CRUISE INTO TERROR which I've never seen.

Hey Mark, no the one I'm thinking of is much older and was screened in the early or mid 80s.
