Default Norwegia Ninja - Retro Games

Now that we've discussed classic Ninja movies, it's time to talk about another key influence on the movie, the first wave of home computer games.

Norwegian Ninja's director was a Commodore 64 man but I was more of a Spectrum kind of guy.

So I'm going to nominate my favourite titles and you're free to do likewise...

Chuckie Egg
Brian Bloodaxe
The Hobbit
Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy
Trashman
Escape From Scumthorpe
Valhalla
Elite

Packshots welcome!

Chuckie Egg is a classic, but behold the wonder of......Paperboy.

I used to play it for hours at a time.

When I was 8 by brother handed me down his ZX Spectrum I played lots of game but a few I quite enjoyed were:

Tapper
Spy Hunter
Cobra
Horace goes skiing
Super Robin hood
Captain S
Ghost's n Goblins
Daley Thompson's Decathlon(fingers used to ache after playing this)

You can play these games here

Any love out there for Mastertronic and Firebird Games (Didn't BT own Firebird?). The 1.99 and 2.99 Budget titles, sometimes seemingly programmed at breakfast before the meeting, so woefully shaky were some of the games.

Mind you, Booty was always an impossible favourite.
