Just watched the trailer for this on YouTube, it looks fantastic exactly my cup of tea. Can't wait to see it!

A couple of my journalist mates saw a press screening of THE RAID at the Glasgow Film Festival - it also gets what I think is it's UK premier at the Frightfest strand of the same festival this very weekend. Unfortunately I'll be down in London when its on...gutted!

Anyway, I didn't want to hear to much about it before seeing it for myself but they both said that the film completely lives up to the trailer and is a wild ride. Can't wait to check it out. Transpires that it's the first part of a trilogy so we have even more to look forward to in the future.

I think it's great that Iko is going to be in Glasgow - will anyone take him on as he ambles down Buchanan Street for a wee shop?

I hope so, and if someone films it on their mobile it could be used as a teaser for The Raid

Well right now I'm typing out a list of stuff I'd like him to do to be filmed so I'd love to have that - it would be nuts. Ideally if Kevin Bridges could take him on I think we'd get some great entertainment out of that!

Damn right and you can't go wrong with a blistering bout of Asian action. Bumps, bruises, broken bones and bloodloss is all in a day's work for the physical geniuses behind these epics. They get my respect everytime.

Speaking of Iko Uwais, i'll have to watch my copy of Merantau Warrior sooner or later.
