There's something wrong with the frame rate. It's like a frame mising every second for the entire film. As if something's happened when it's been transfered

Sounds like a bad NTSC-to-PAL conversion to me. When you convert NTSC to PAL it does that, stutters like crazy as if a frame is being lost every sceond or so - which, of course, it kind of is, to change from 24fps to 25fps.

Since my current player is playing up, watching stuff can be hit or miss (older ones I know for a fact are "safe" are currently skipping) but don't remember any bother with CM, will check it when I get home though.

Yeah, the same thing happens with the extras on the UK blu-ray of Mel Gibson's Payback. They were fine on Paramount's US disc.

My disc of Dellamorte Dellamore stutters and it's really bloody annoying. Can't see me watching it again.

Shameless really should redo this - it's a constant problem throughout the film. Unlike other mistakes such as DPOD, ZFE and Beyond, where the film can still be watched (although not as the director intended), this conversion(?) really pulls me out of the film. It is hard to rewatch this.
