Default War Of the Worlds: The Second Invasion

Well here's something I thought would never be released! Paramount have announced the R1 release of The 2nd (and completely revamped) season of WOTW, starring Jared Martin and a pre-Highlander Adrian Paul. I liked the 2nd season a lot more that the 1st, so this is going straight on my list of things to buy.

I though it was all the better for it. Need to get the 1st season now as well.

I remember liking it but this was during a time when decent genre telly was thin on the ground. I don't think it'd stand up against BSG, Stargate and other shows. I remembered seeing Adrian Paul in S2 just before he made it "big" in Highlander.

I'm still waiting for Sam Jones' shortlived show The Highwayman to make it's DVD debut. Ok, the pilot was truly awful but the subsequent shows were ok. It also starred Tim Russ (Star Trek: Voyager) and Jane Badler (V). Incidentally, Badler is to appear in the revision of V next season.

Jane Badler is indeed to appear in the new V and in the role of Diana which is pretty damn cool, all the show needs now is Marc Singer and Michael Ironside and we'll have the Proper V show...
