DAMNATION ALLY coming to DVD and Blu-Ray

hells yeah, this is the best news since finding out Rolling Thunder was getting a release...

Damnation Ally is getting a dvd and blu-ray release courtesy of Shout Factory this year. This is absolutely awesome news and a rumour has it they're also releasing a dvd and Blu of Corman's Battle Beyond The Stars, again this is awesome news....

Nice! I knew they were releasing it on dvd but there was no mention of blu before. Been waiting a long long time for this!

All I have is an old Sky recording of this and a battered pre cert.

A Blu Ray will be like a dream come true!

(I always saw this, Race With the Devil and The Car as an "unofficial" trilogy as - in my memory at least - they always seemed to appear on terrestrial TV around about the same time in the early 80s. I'd like to complete my "unofficial, totally unconnected" trilogy on Blu... )

Nice! I have very fond memories of going to see Battle Beyond the Stars at the cinema on it's original release.

Likewise, had a great time at cinema with this one as a kid. Sybil Danning made a particularly striking impression on me.

Unfortunately, at that time, everything sci-fi was compared with Star Wars, and not many films could measure up. But this one was great fun and I rated it quite highly at the time.

I saw it at the cinema when I was a kid as well, haven't seen it since and I can't remember a damn thing about it!

The above supplier confirmed earlier my own copies of BBTS and DA have now been shipped. Two more highly anticipated releases there among many others and hopefully if Lady Luck smiles down on me both titles will arrive while i'm off work!
