Default After Dark Label

I have mixed opinions about this label. On one hand I think their titles look quite good and look promising and it's enticing me to collect them.

On the other I think it will be straight to dvd crap where the budget is so low I could make a better film with a 5 pound note and don't want to be clogging up my shelves with shite.

What would you do and what do you think of the label/films

They tend to be a mixed bag, but so far none of them have been truley dreadful. The films are all selected for the after dark fest so theres a level of quality control. Wicked liitle things and frontiers were on previous after dark releases and prowl and husk were pretty good from the current crop.

The only let down is so far their all bare bones extras free discs which is a shame as its a good opportunity wasted for new voices from the horror community to gain more exposure.

Been thinking about getting Husk ever since I saw the TV spots for it. You can never have too many killer scarecrow movies.

I've noticed that the recent UK releases - the ones with the slip covers - have started turning up for a fiver in Asda and Sainsbury's if anyone was thinking of picking some up.

Deaths of Ian Stone was incredible, The Hamiltons was beyond awful, so they're definitely a mixed bunch. I always thought The Hills Run Red was part of these too?

The Deaths Of Ian Stone was pretty good. Mulberry Street, however, was absolutely magnificent.
