Default Overwhelmed by Exploitation!

Does anyone ever get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of cool films that are out there that come under the exploitation banner. I like horror, kung fu, Yakuza, Samurai, Blacksploitation, Si-Fi, Ozsplotation and more and there are literally hundreds (if not thousands) of films old and new that I hear about on a daily basis. I try to keep a piece of paper by my computer with all of the new stuff I hear about listed and then cross it off when I get to see it but it seems to grow and grow and with an extremely tight budget for DVD I can see my self missing out on loads of cool stuff. For example since I joined this forum I have read about Night of the Demon, Tokyo Gore Police and The New York Ripper, as well as all the other cool Arrow and Shameless releases (don’t even get me started on the separate piece of paper I had to make when I watched the fantastic doc Not Quite Hollywood about Ozsploitation) and they have to go on the list too!

Does anyone else feel my pain? It seems that there is just not enough time in the day and not enough money in the bank to spend my time hunting down and watching these amazing films.

We certainly do. I have trouble keeping up with (and viewing!) the films I do have, without my habit of continually adding to it. Enough is never enough!

I both feel and live your pain!

At last count I have about 150 unwatched DVD's.... My purchasing outstrips my watching capabilities! I'm trying to slow down on my purchases, but it's too damn hard - especially with the amount of amazing DVD's being released at the moment!

Well, let's just say that balancing out the needs of daily family life and my viewing habits has become one of my biggest challenges
As my wife doesn't exactly share my taste in movies, I have to find those tiny time-windows, which allow for uninterrupted viewing- usually when everybody else has gone to sleep.
Apart from the time and money issue, storage is certainly something I'll have to take into consideration as our living room is starting to look like a movie library- not exactly to my wife's liking

I know how you feel.I have shelves in a corner of the bedroom, but as I'm heavily into TV boxed sets now, they're creeping slowly out the corner.I hate to part with anything though.I have everything from Blaxploitation,The X-Files,On The Buses Complete,UFO to the likes of ILsa She Wolf Of the SS.
