I recall someone who owned the R3 release saying it was slightly trimmed.
I don't own it,so can't comment for sure....

I still haven't had a chance to compare them directly, I'm afraid.

Finally!

The R0 Korean DVD is definately the cut R-rated version. The picture quality of the transfer is outstanding (as is the sleeve artwork) , however, so I'd still recommend it if the cuts don't bother you. You can get it pretty cheaply.

I think I'm going to keep it - it didn't cost much and I have dual copies of far worse films!

Does anybody know any good on-line shop beside Amazon where I can purchase the French release?

Thanks for confirming the status of the Korean disc as I was thinking of picking that one up.

I once had this complete video version too despite not being a particular fan of the film.

I found it at Tynemouth flea market one Sunday.
There were two copies and i recall the seller watching me in bewilderment as i opened both cases and checked the duplication dates on each cassette. Once i realised i'd struck gold and one of the releases was uncut i couldn't part with the cash quick enough and although the VHS tape was priced at £4.50 the trader kindly knocked 50p off the overall cost seemingly just for the sake of it!

One of my favourite films of all time (hence the avatar), i was under the impression the Korean copy was the uncut version? It's still worth ordering, great transfer and very reasonably priced. I quite like the pinky tacky packaging it comes with too. A nice special edition wouldn't go amiss though!

RIP Zoe Lund!
