Default Trailers that never were...

For some reason recently I have been coming across various trailers for films that were never completed (or perhaps never even properly started). I’m not talking Fake Grindhouse trailers but exploitation and horror films that were going to be but never quite were. These are the ones I've come across so far, I thought Id share with everyone here the frustration of seeing a trailer to a film will (probably) never get to watch.

Gone With The Pope

I came across this one when searching for exploitation films on YouTube and nearly cried when I found out you couldn’t actually watch it. It’s a film by Duke Mitchell that was shot but never edited. Supposedly Grindhouse Releasing are going to piece it together and realease it but until then it remains an un-viewable film. For a while I thought the same was the case for Duke Mitchells first film Massacre Mafia Style but it just turns out to be very hard to get hold of (but totally worth it if you can).

Chunkblower

This is the trailer for Jim Van Bebbers Chunkblower. I don't really know much about it but it looks like it would have been awesome if it had been made into a feature (not to mention sick and depraved!!!).

All American Massacre

Texas Chainsaw Massacre II is one of my favourite horrors of all time and when I found out that Tobe Hoppers son had directed a film about Chop Top, arguably the best horror creation ever, I was over the moon. Unfortunately I was brought back down to earth when I found out that it’s an uncompleted film that will most likely never see the light of day.

I’m sure there must be more of these (in fact I swear I had a fourth one to post but cant for the life of me remember it now). Anyone else know of any horror/exploitation films that were meant to be that now only exist in trailer form?

I wonder if that's William Conrad doing the voiceover on the Chunkblower trailer. The first thng I thought of when I heard it was the Buck Rogers voiceover.
